Maureen Baird's 28-year career with the Bureau of Prisons (BOP), culminated as the Warden of the United States Penitentiary in Marion, Illinois. Baird's pivotal roles include membership in the Joint Terrorist Task Force when she was Warden at the Metropolitan Correctional Center New York. She regularly contributes to the American Bar Association's Criminal Justice Magazine and several of her articles have been published. She has testified and been found qualified on BOP policies, prison management, prison adjustment, prison practices and other areas in several U.S. District Courts.
Jan Perdue is a corrections expert specializing in consulting specifically regarding all aspects of the federal prison system, with 34 years of experience in executive leadership and management of federal prisons and residential reentry centers. She has provided specialized mitigation support and consultation to numerous attorneys and their clients. She has provided Expert Witness testimony in US Districts Court and foreign courts for defendants facing extradition to the United States. Her work with ASD offenders has been featured in a quarterly publication for the ABA Criminal Justice Section.
